Joining the Merchant Navy is not just a career choice — it’s a calling. FleetFrontier helps aspiring cadets understand the entire process clearly:
Meet the Eligibility Criteria
After 10th or 12th (Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics).
Medical fitness and eyesight standards as per DG Shipping rules.
Choose the Right Course
After 10th: GP Rating Course.
After 12th (PCM): DNS (Diploma in Nautical Science), B.Sc. Nautical Science, or Marine Engineering.
After Diploma/Graduation: Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) Course or GME (Graduate Marine Engineering).
Join a DG Shipping & IMU Approved Institute
Always ensure the maritime college or training institute is approved by DG Shipping, Government of India.
